This enables full functionality of the Griffin Technology iMate, The extension performs most of the functions of the ADB manager. This allows ADB devices that require custom drivers to operate on an iMac or a Mac with a USB card. Many ADB devices such as keyboards, mice, trackballs, trackpads, and bar code readers operate with the iMate without any driver software at all or only need a driver to support special functions. Hardware "dongles", drawing tablets, and joysticks require the iMate driver to operate. You would only need this extension for these devices. You must have the latest iMac firmware update as well as the latest iMac ROM Update to use this driver.
